
MJ Burton
Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Specialist
MJ Burton earned both her B.S.Ed. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her M.Ed. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs! She has worked in pediatric inpatient rehabilitation, pediatric private practice, and public schools (pre-kindergarten through 8th grade). MJ has experience working with medically-fragile children, autism spectrum disorder, gestalt language processors, orofacial myofunctional disorders, fluency disorders, and augmentative + alternative communication (AAC). MJ is most passionate about early intervention and feeding disorders. She is trained in Talk Tools Feeding Therapy: A Sensory-Motor Approach. MJ is licensed in both Georgia and Florida and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. MJ's favorite part about being an SLP is establishing connections with kiddos and their families. In her free time, MJ enjoys working out, practicing yoga, spending time with her loved ones, and watching Georgia football.
