Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Zakkiyya is a licensed pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. She graduated from Nova Southeastern with her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language and Communications Disorders. She has worked with children ranging from preschool to high school age in various settings including pediatric prescribed extended daycares, family homes and the private practice setting. She values the importance of connecting with families to help grow the child’s communication skills both inside and outside of their speech therapy sessions. Her spare time is spent exploring new running trails, kayaking , thrift shopping, and enjoying time on the beach with a favorite book.
