Michelle Mendez

Speech-Language Pathologist
Michelle is a Speech-Language Pathologist, who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and received her master’s degree from St. John’s University. Before moving down to Miami, she spent 3+ years working at an ABA-based Early Intervention clinic and providing home-based services. Her experience during that time also included working as an adjunct professor for the Communication Sciences and Disorders program at her alma mater. Since moving to Miami, Michelle has had experience working within private practices and within the Miami-Dade County Public School System. Her almost 7 years of clinical experience includes a wide variety of areas, such as : Early Language Development, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Receptive and Expressive Language delays, Articulation/Phonological Disorders, Fluency Disorders and Pragmatic/Social Language Delays. She also has a background in singing, theater and performance and enjoys incorporating singing into her therapy sessions. Michelle is so grateful for the opportunity to work with Always Keep Progressing and strives to tailor treatment to meet each child’s individual needs, while having fun in the process!
