Annie Tao

Annie Tao

Owner and Therapist, Piano Teacher

Annie Tao is a Speech-Language Pathologist, certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and licensed by the Department of Health in the state of Florida.She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Music at SUNY Binghamton, New York and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. With over 5 extensive years of experience as an SLP in paediatrics and geriatrics, she has worked in the Broward County school district in self-contained Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities units, many different skilled nursing facilities across Florida, hospital settings in short term and long term acute rehabilitation, private practice clinics, and home care. She has comprehensive experience with both the pediatric and adult/geriatric populations. Annie is also a piano teacher for all age groups. She has been studying piano since the age of 5 and graduated from Manhattan School of Music Conservatory Precollege in New York as well as from the Music Performance undergraduate program at Binghamton University. She utilizes her versatile educational and extracurricular background to implement creative and individualized treatment plans as well as music plans for individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Alice Tao

Content Manager

Alice Tao is the Content Manager at Always Keep Progressing and a recent graduate of Yale College. At Yale, Alice received a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Molecular Cellular, and Developmental Biology, and received the Edgar J. Boell Prize in recognition of her scientific research in biology. In New Haven, she worked as a volunteer in homeless shelters, local soup kitchens, and the pediatric emergency department at Yale-New Haven Hospital. During her time at Yale, she was also heavily involved in a variety of musical endeavors, as a violinist in the Yale Symphony Orchestra and a singer in two a cappella groups, The New Blue of Yale and Whim ‘n Rhythm. In the fall, she will begin her first year of medical school at Columbia University’s Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (VP&S) in New York City.

This is Savanna, a Speech-Language Pathologist that recently made a big change and moved from Toledo, Ohio to Miami, FL! This big jump led her to a home at Always Keep Progressing. She is excited to continue her journey with a team that strives to improve the lives of many unique and amazing children. She loves supporting families and children in so many different goals and finding what works best for each child.
Nicole Camejo

Nicole Camejo

Music Therapist

Nicole is a board-certified music therapist, who has been practicing for two years. She has experience working in various clinical settings, such as private practice, schools, hospitals, and assisted living facilities. Nicole has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities in both music therapy sessions and adapted music lessons. She received her training from the University of Miami and is proficient in voice, guitar, drums, and piano!
Chantal Williams

Chantal was born and raised in Miami, Florida to Haitian immigrant parents. Shes fluent in Haitian Creole and passionate about advocating for and educating members in the community about therapeutic services (especially in the Haitian community). Her favorite thing about being a speech therapist is: seeing kid’s make progress towards their communication goals. When she is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, watching movies, shopping and being creative. She’s so excited to enter this new adventure with AKP and is looking forward to making lasting/fulfilling memories and accomplishments.

Hi everyone! My name is Monique and I am extremely excited to join the Always Keep Progressing team! I graduated from Florida State University with my Bachelor’s in Psychology and minor in Child Development. I am currently in the process of applying to graduate programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Education. Throughout my life, I have worked in numerous places with children, ranging from research labs to summer camps. Their strength and resilience is something I admire, and has made me decide to go down a path where I can work with children as well as people of all ages. I am very happy to be working at a place that makes such a positive impact on these children’s lives. 

Andrea Zilizi

Clinical Director / Speech language pathologist

Andrea Zilizi is a Speech-Language Pathologist with 16 years of experience working with the pediatric population. She graduated from the University of Florida with her Master’s degree and has practiced in a wide variety of settings including outpatient hospital clinics, private practice, public school, and home health care. She is passionate about serving the patients and families to help them achieve their goals in the most functional means. She has experience working with Speech/Articulation delays, Early Language Development, Reading/Spelling and Literacy difficulties, Feeding/Swallowing delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Pragmatic/Social Language delays. Andrea is PROMPT trained and has extensive training in SOS approach for feeding. She continues to be inspired and motivated by the families she works with and this drives her to constantly find creative and fun ways to help children learn and develop. Andrea is grateful for the daily opportunity to use her knowledge and experience to help others and excited to work with the Always Keep Progressing family.

Yanet Felipe

Speech language pathologist assistant

Yanet Felipe is a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant with a background in musical theater and violin. She received her bachelor’s degree from Florida International University in communication arts with a specialization in organizational communication. Most recently, she also completed FIU’s graduate certificate program in communication sciences and disorders. In addition, she is an alumnus of the prestigious American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, where she received rigorous training in vocal performance, dance, and musical theater. Yanet enjoys fusing her love of arts with speech therapy and is passionate about working intimately with special needs children and their families. Her goal is to help all patients reach their speech goals through a variety of creative methods. In the fall of 2020, she will be attending Albizu University and working towards her Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology. She looks forward to the new and exciting challenges that await in this exciting career.

From a young age, Maria has had a passion for working with children and helping them find their voice. Last spring, she graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and has continued her studies through her graduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders. AKP’s music integrated therapy stood out to her from the moment she learned about the company and she can’t wait to see the amazing ways it will impact children and their family through this journey.

My name is Natalia and I am a pediatric occupational therapist. I graduated from Florida International University and have worked in pediatrics ever since. My favorite thing about being an Occupational Therapist is getting to see my patients improve, grow, and succeed in their daily life. I love motivating my patients with their favorite things and making therapy fun!
