Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Greetings! My name is Violeta and I am a certified occupational therapy assistant. I am from Bulgaria and in 2007 I visited the US as a part of a student exchange summer program. Although my educational background is primarily in the math field, I worked for over a decade in the hospitality industry. I had never heard about occupational therapy until my hospitalization in 2016. The occupational and physical therapy team was amazing and essential for getting my life back. This challenging time led to my decision to pursue a career in the OT field. I graduated from Keiser University in 2021 as an occupational therapy assistant. I was fortunate to work with children from all ages in the school, clinic and home settings. I am looking forward to growing as a therapist and bringing positive changes with the support of the AKP team.
